Outcomes:
In discussion with Paul Sexton and Paul Byford, VISION refined our Work Order promises into an overriding promise to get the Integrated Wedge “humming like a train” by ensuring that a set of 4 projects of varying sizes completed the G50-G70 journey in a 14-16 week timeframe in contribution to the 50:30:5 promise.
“Completion” was defined as having completed the work and deliverables needed to declare being “Ready for AIG.” The practical aim was to work around endemic governance delays by preparing projects to the point that senior leaders could agree on progressing them into the Prepare stage.
Behavioural goal for the project: Shift project practices from task/resourcing to 2 week sprints driven by eliciting, making and delivering on personal promises for discrete Sprint Goals and Ready for AIG. Establish sustainable Learning Team practices. Cultivate and coach CbM practices.
