Our purpose here is not to describe these competence, but to generate the capacity to take actions that can be assessed as competent. In this paper, we are continuing to invent a new discourse of management, based on a new paradigm of management. We distinguish five core competences of operational management, and these are named: people, teams, team leadership, planning and projects.
